Lucas Katler is a Tony Award®-winning producer who develops innovative projects across theater and film.
He's based in Brooklyn.
Originally from South Florida (but don’t hold it against him), Lucas moved to New York in 2017 to work in the William Morris Endeavor mailroom, which, believe it or not, still exists. Lucas then worked for WME agent Susan Weaving before joining Barbara Whitman Productions as Producing Associate, where he worked on a range of projects in development including A STRANGE LOOP (Tony Award®, Best New Musical). He
then went on to work for Scott Rudin Productions, and, while
there, Lucas produced his first show on Broadway.
Lucas now develops and produces a wide range of creative projects ranging from Broadway-bound musicals to one-person touring shows. He loves satire and well-crafted frivolity. Along with his producing partners Max Hunter and Jesse Singer, Lucas is working to build The Empyrean Club, an innovative new commercial theater space in Brooklyn.
More on that soon.
Lucas completed the Commercial Theater Institute's 14-Week Producing Intensive, sits on the Arts Advisory Council for Pace University, and is a proud alumnus of Dartmouth College, which wrote a very nice article about him a few years ago in their alumni magazine. He was also recently featured on the Creative Risk podcast, where he talked about the future of commercial Off-Broadway theater.

Lucas’s friends—which you’re well on your way to becoming if you’re not already—call him Luke.
